Indie or Hollywood: A professional touch

No matter if you’re an indie filmmaker or a large film production, when you’re telling a story for the silver screen, every movement matters. We create exciting and safe action sequences for your project from pre-production to completion. We have experience choreographing and coordinating medieval battles, slapstick comedy, sci-fi combat, barroom brawls, martial arts, stunts, and more. We create action that is:

  • Safe for cast and crew

  • Suitable to the ability of all participants

  • Achievable within the available time frame

  • Complimentary to the characters, style, and genre

  • Technically appropriate for stage and set design

  • Visually exciting using rhythm, timing, and choreography

  • Able to tell a story and aid in character progression

Action design with the camera in mind

Our action cinematographers not only design for cameras, but we can also help you make the most of your fight scenes. Action design is more than just fight sequences. Beyond the obvious clash-and-bash of combat, it includes a wide variety of movements. Basics (slaps, grabs, shoves), dynamic reactions (tripping, falling, jumping, flying), and weapon handling (familiarization, posing, brandishing) are all crucial pieces to the fluidity of your story. If your production has any prop or instance that portrays violence - from mundane to gruesome - a fight choreographer can help ensure your actors are comfortable and safe while embodying their characters.

Fast and Furious for film

Film is different from theatrical staged productions, so the action should be more than just “modified stage combat”. Our fight directors take camera angles, cinematography, and editing into consideration when creating dynamic, effective, and story-driven fight sequences. If it’s on film, you’ve had ample time to make it look good, fast, and furious.

Firearms safety on set

Weapons and theatrical firearms on any set (stage or film) is not a topic we take lightly. We not only stress the importance of safe storytelling, but we also strongly emphasize safe training, handling, and use of these props during a production.

“Highly trained and skilled”

“If you need any SERIOUS stunt or fight choreography, DEFINITELY REACH OUT TO THEM!! They are hands down the best team I've ever worked with in their field. Professional, quick, smart and extremely safety conscious (which is super important to me). This isn't just your buddy who is big and watched a bunch of action movies, these folks are highly trained and skilled and will bring a level of quality to your work you wouldn't believe.”
